Does your class have a weather unit? The Prairie Storm Chasers would love to present to your classroom. Our presentations give students a unique opportunity to learn about weather from the storm chasers who get up close and personal with North America’s strongest storms! Our team brings a special presentation to classes throughout the Edmonton and Calgary areas. From weather safety, lightning, hail, tornadoes and armoured tornado tanks, they show captivating videos, share their weather know-how and answer student’s questions.
NEW: for 2019/2020 we are supplying weather safety booklets to your class. We’ve partnered with Forecast Force. Check out ForecastForce.TV for more resources and info.
Our presentation fits with Topic D: Weather Watch of the Alberta Education Grade 5 curriculum (more info available upon request).

We do accept donations toward the Prairie Storm Chaser Classroom Fund. This fuels future school talks in hopes to spread the knowledge of weather across the prairies.
